One of the laziest news app. Slow updates, more videos than words, ads for watching any video. Shameful for a good news team.

This app crashes and is plastered with advertisements. Why would I want to watch two 30 second ads for a small news clip????

This app constantly crashes!! It is a complete waste of time. When I am finally able to get the app open for more than 5 seconds and selecting a story it crashes. Completely useless!!!!

This is my 6th attempt to leave a comment, hopefully this name is not taken. This app does not work, it crashes all the time. Please fix it!

The iPad app crashes too often.

Why is Rogers not bothered by how bad this app reflects on their reputation? It is constantly crashing! When will they bother fixing it?

Total garbage, and not worth downloading. Either will not open, or opens and then shuts down. You would think a company like Rogers media could afford to get proper IT people to create an app that works. Come on guys, get your act together and pay someone appropriately to create a good app that works. That or just remove it from the app store. In fact, its mind-boggling that this app even exists! Dont waste your time downloading, because it just wont work.

Complete and utter garbage! Constantly crashes, dont even waste your time downloading. Not sure what level of education is required for these writers but, from the looks of it I would guess grade 6.

Please add a save news button, to save stories to read later on, CNN and a whole bunch of other news apps all have save news functionality, its very important if you want to read that story again later on

Please update the app to accommodate the iPhone 6+ Screen size!!!!! The app is blurry and text/pictures look awful

For months and months now, every time I click on a news link that I am interested in reading, it loads a totally different news story. Tired of this and this app. 0 stars if I could.

I like CityNews a lot and its good for local news but in this app there are just way too many ads. Multiple non-skipable ads before being able to watch a video, ads on startup etc. I dont want to sit through multiple ads to watch a thirty second video. Content is good, however all the ads are a big turnoff.

The his app does nothing but crash. Please fix it.

Crashes all the time.

When you go to local sports it has a week old story on the Jays. Severely lacking in updates. Currently most of the news is from may 29 ( aprox 26 days ago) Content is outdated. You have to wait for an annoying splash screen ad. Layout is good but you can tell they have only a summer student working on it Yawn.

Would give it zero stars if I could.

Why is there now way to copy a link to a story??? Do you not want me to share the story? Do you not want a wider audience? Why does the app turn off the music Im listening to when the app opens??? This is super annoying, and because of it, I use this app way way less than I otherwise would. Why do you insist on showing me that CityLine ad every single time I open the app? I dont watch CityLine and I NEVER will. Give it up already! Edit: double clicking the home button while the app is loading, seems to make that incessant CityLine ad go away a bit faster.

The ads before the videos are very annoying. I deleted the app because of it. There are a few other news apps for Toronto City specifically without ads. Most of the big news apps (cnn, etc) do not have ads in the videos. Get rid of those annoying ads!

This app is the worst Ive seen so far. It takes forever to load and will crash right after. Very disappointing that such a big Corp like rogers media could not even improve their app. App deleted.
